What happened in Haiti?

The White House dismisses as conspiracy theory Jean-Bertrand Aristide's claims he was kidnapped by U.S. troops and did not voluntarily leave Haiti. But John Kerry was among those today saying "there ought to be some investigation of the claim that [deposed despot Jean-Bertrand] Aristide was forced out and escorted by U.S. troops ... I think it needs to be explored and we need to know the truth of what happened."

Is an investigation warranted? The blog Liberal Oasis examines a White House press room exchange and wonders how the dodging of four key questions on Aristide's departure by Bush spokesman Scott McClellan reflects on the administration's claims about what went down in Haiti over the weekend.
