Melinda Beck

You can find Melinda Beck holed up in her Brooklyn studio working, always working. If she's not perched in front of her computer practicing what she studied at RISD, graphic design, then she's propped up at another table scratching, painting and gluing together another one of her evil, wrinkled protagonists that appear in her disturbing and demented little illustrations. Her work has appeared in many magazines including Entertainment Weekly, The Progressive, Ray Gun and Rolling Stone as well as on the albums and t-shirts of the now-defunct band Quicksand. This is the first time her work has appeared on-line.
