Frank McCourt, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of the memoir "Angela's Ashes," follows in the illustrious footsteps of Joan Crawford, Elizabeth Taylor and Rosie O'Donnell as a celebrity guest on a daytime soap. McCourt will appear on the Sept. 10 episode of ABC's One Life to Live, playing himself; he's supposed to be in Llanview for a book signing at the university, during which a terrorist act occurs. So, uh, why Frank McCourt and why "One Life to Live"? Answer: McCourt's brother, actor Malachy McCourt, plays terrorist Kenneally on the soap. Yes, it all makes sense now ...
