S E R I E S

On the Christmas episode of King of the Hill (8 p.m., Fox), Hank's neighbor Bill misses his ex-wife so much at holiday time, he takes to wearing her clothes. Angel remembers kills of Christmases past and learns why he was released from hell on Buffy the Vampire Slayer (8 p.m., WB). Also, Willow has a very special night with Oz. Finch thinks nobody appreciates him on the Christmas episode of Just Shoot Me (9 p.m., NBC). On Felicity (9 p.m., WB), Christmas break is approaching and our heroine has to make a decision: Figure out where she stands with Noel or keep stalking Ben. Sports Night (9:30 p.m., ABC) has a story line about college athletes who refuse to play under a Confederate flag. On NYPD Blue (10 p.m., ABC), Sorenson plays referee when tensions arise between Sipowicz and Fancy over a racially charged shooting involving a black undercover cop. Also, Dolores, the formerly mute receptionist, now revealed to be a stripper, is arrested for shoplifting.


S P E C I A L S

Mariah Carey: Around the World (9 p.m., UPN) features performance clips of the diva from her various concert tours. The "America Undercover" documentary Life of Crime 2 (10 p.m., HBO) is a sequel to filmmaker Jon Alpert's 1989 study of two petty thieves from Jersey who end up in jail. This installment profiles the men five years later, as they're let out on parole.
