Clintons donate to Obama

Bill and Hillary Clinton each donated $2,300 to Barack Obama's presidential campaign on Friday, NBC's First Read blog reports. That's the maximum amount allowed under federal law.

Their gesture followed by one day a similar one made by Barack and Michelle Obama, who each gave the maximum allowable donation to Hillary Clinton's campaign on Thursday.
